The company was co-founded by Jordan Harris, a former music industry heavy hitter who co-founded the Rock the Vote organization in 1991 and the Green Car to the Red Carpet campaign in 2002. The latter encouraged celebrities to arrive at the Academy Awards in electric or hybrid vehicles to promote environmental awareness.
