6 ways to Green Your Barbecue
Whether you're grilling curried lamb kebobs and Japanese eggplant for two on your patio or hamburgers and hotdogs for 100 at the company picnic, the top consideration when barbecuing is how you fire up your grill. All common methods—charcoal, natural gas, propane, and electricity—consume natural resources and release greenhouse gases and other pollutants. But some grilling methods burn cleaner than others.

Along the lines of the Buy a gas or electric grill statement. I agree that you are missing out on some flavor, but another bonus is that it is so much easier to grill on a gas or electric grill.
