LEED for Homes is a national, voluntary rating system that promotes the construction of high-performance green homes. LEED homes earn Certified, Silver, Gold or Platinum levels of certification, based on an inspection and performance review by independent third-party inspectors. The USGBC's website offers a list of certified homes.
