8 things you can do to Green Your Cleaning products
Chemicals in cleaning products can contaminate ecosystems, cause skin irritation, and pollute the air inside your home. The simplest (and cheapest) way to keep cleaning chemicals out of your home and the waste stream is to use safe, simple ingredients, like vinegar and baking soda, that you probably already have on hand in their place. Save even more money (and landfill space) by reusing T-shirts, socks, newspapers, and more as rags and mops. If you do choose to buy commercial cleaning products, make sure they are made with natural, plant-based ingredients.

For dusting, forget the expensive dusting products (even the natural ones!) -- simple water on a cloth will work for 99% of the jobs.

Thats a very good point, but be careful using just water on wood furniture, it can dry the wood out and ruin your dresser!
