These eco-pants provide a UPF 50+ sun protection by the construction of the blended fabric which is organic cotton on the outside and recycled PET polyester (made from old soda bottles) on the inside. No chemical treatment was used to provide sun protection. Also look for similarly made boy's shorts and girl's capri pants.
