Hair care
6 ways to Green Your Hair care
When seeking out green hair care products, start by checking the label. Look for products that swap environmentally and health-damaging petrochemicals for natural, plant-based ingredients. Also look for certifications verifying that the product you choose is organic and/or cruelty-free. Next, consider the packaging: shampoo bars with minimal packaging and products in bottles made from recycled materials will decrease the amount of waste and pollution associated with your beauty regimen. Finally, when you visit the salon, find one that uses natural products and employs water- and energy-saving practices.

i like the idea of buying big bottles of everything and using small glass bottles to refill. whether it is my shampoo or laundry detergent, it really reduces the amount of small packaging getting thrown out... if we could only get our refills at the supermarkets!
