Lunapads are available in both non-organic and certified organic cotton. Styles are designed to meet needs ranging from light to very heavy menstrual flow days. All styles feature a cotton flannel base with a nylon-cotton liner affixed to the top of it. Ric-rac bands hold the liners in place and make for easy replacement. When you wish to change a liner, you only have to remove the outer liner, leaving the holder in place, affixed to your underwear. Other designs require you to remove both the holder and the liner to replace only the inserted liner. Holders have wings that Velcro to each other around the crotch of your underwear.
