Lipstick
3 ways to Green Your Lipstick
To get a good green lipstick (not green in color, of course), you'll need to read ingredient lists with a watchful eye and well-informed mind. Avoid petroleum-based ingredients, such as mineral oil, as well as synthetic chemicals, like parabens and BHA, that may pose human health problems in addition to environmental degradation. Lipsticks made with plant-based and natural ingredients and coloring are also available in organic and cruelty-free varieties, to up your lips' green sheen. Once you're sure the ingredients are safe, also choose lipsticks in minimal or recyclable packaging and dispose of it properly.
